Now that the inevitable that is winter has arrived, it’s important to prepare for the worst. We all hate driving in the winter and even more, would hate to be stranded. Store these seven essential items in your vehicle from now until April!  

An Ice Scraper.

It’s vital if you hope to see out of your windshield.

A First Aid Kit.

Pack your kit with extra bandages, antibiotic ointment, alcohol wipes and an instant ice pack.

An Extra Blanket.

If your battery dies, there’s no telling how long you’ll be stranded.

Jumper Cables.

Again, if your battery dies.

A Car Phone Charger.

You’re going to want to have one of these on hand, especially if you have a smartphone.

Dress for Success.

Dress in layers. It’s better to have to take some off than to regret not having enough.

Nonperishables… AKA water and food.

Use this as an excuse to buy those Cheetos and that pound of beef jerky you’ve had your eye on at the store.
