INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Simpson men’s tennis team kicked off their IIAC season at home, taking on Loras College and the University of Dubuque on Saturday, Apr. 11.

Simpson defeated the Duhawks (0-12, 0-4) of Loras 6-3 before falling to the Spartans 7-2.

Match 1: Simpson 6, Loras 3

The Storm (4-11, 1-1) dominated Loras in singles play, going 5-1 to earn the team win before even starting doubles play.

Peter Rietgraf lost in the No. 1 slot against Brian Falvey, (6-0, 6-3) before freshman Connor Barnard started the five match-winning streak.
