Simpson welcomed five participants to the Indianola Country Club Monday for the Simpson Invitational. After dodging 18-holes of raindrops, Simpson finished 4th/5, with Grand View failing to finish their round of play.

Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) was lead by Molly Gieck who shot a 87, leading all competitors. 7 DMACC golfers finished in the top ten, leading the Bears to a team victory. DMACC finished 81 over par, with second place Central finishing 19 behind DMACC at +100.

Freshman Courtney Maebus finished above all other Simpson golfers at 17th, shooting +30.
