Simpson College will be featured as the honored community from noon to 7 p.m. at the Warren County Fairgrounds Highway 92 West, Indianola

Warren County Log Cabin Festival Parade will be at 10 a.m. at the Warren County Fairgrounds, on Highway 92 West, Indianola.

Sunday, Sept. 26

Simpson Sunday at First United Methodist Church featuring Dr. Bruce Haddox Brunch following including Wall of Honor unveiling of names added to the Honor Roll of the Names That Live at Simpson.

Friday, Oct. 1

3 – 8 pm – Discounted Golf at Deer Run in Indianola – Tee times can be scheduled by contacting Deer Run Golf Course at (515) 961-5445.  $10 per person for 9 holes plus cart fees.  Available to alumni, students and students’ family members.

5:30 pm – Simpson Athletics Red & Gold Celebration – Social hour is at 5:30 pm and dinner and program start at 6:30 pm.  $15 adults, $6 children ages 5-12, children 4 & under are free.

8:30 pm – Yell Like Hell – An annual favorite housing competition, watch the students whoop it up in Hopper!

Saturday, Oct. 2

8 – 10 a.m. – Complimentary pancake breakfast – Storm Street Grill, Brenton Student Center.  FREE

11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Tailgate Under the Tent – Students, families, alumni, friends, faculty & staff are invited to gather for a full lunch buffet under the big white tent.  $12 for adults, $6 for children ages 5-12 and children 4 & under are free. 

2 p.m. – Storm Football as Simpson vs. Luther

5:30 p. m. – Post-Game Party – The appetizers and pop are on the house.  Cash bar for those over 21.
