WALKING a THIN LINE
October 3, 2012
Students could be seen on campus on a gorgeous Friday afternoon participating in a new activity, slacklining.
“People at different college campuses around the country have been getting into this recently,” said senior Stephen Henrich. “I was introduced to it this summer and I really liked it, so I decided to go and buy the ropes for it. It was less than $20 to purchase the equipment from Wal-Mart. It’s a lot of fun.”
As students walked by some were brave enough to try the new activity.
Just like the trend of planking, maybe this will be the newest thing to take Simpson campus by storm.
