Update: Total value of stolen equipment from the Ankeny campus is estimated between $60,000 and $75,000, Jill Johnson said in an email this afternoon.

Classes will resume on Feb. 2 as repairs continue.

No arrests have been made yet, said Johnson, executive director of marketing and public relations.

The stolen computers were encrypted, but there was no sensitive information on them as they were for instructional use.

The IT department is working to replace lost equipment, including TVs, wireless/networking equipment, projectors, and desk/laptop computers. Simpson is hopeful classes will resume in Ankeny next week, Johnson said.
