Women’s tennis blanks Buena Vista

STORM LAKE, Iowa – After winning only one head-to-head matchup in the last three contests, the women’s tennis team took out its frustrations in a 9-0 thrashing of Buena Vista (0-5, 0-3) on Saturday.

Simpson (5-3, 3-3) got walkover wins in both singles and doubles play at the No. 6 and No. 3 spots respectively to help the cause. 

Liz Nimmo improved to a team best 5-3 in a spotless 6-0, 6-0 win over Sabrina Manezero in the No. 5 spot.

Cassidy Bierbrodt and Michelle Hartmann won 8-0 in doubles play to augment their doubles record to a team-best 5-3.
