March 27, 2003
Aliens landing on earth and a man living with Alzheimer’s are just two of the varying issues brought to life in the serious-comic drama, Tales of the Lost Formicans.
Theatre Simpson presented three performances of Tales of the Lost Formicans at Pote Theater this past weekend. It was the last production of the year until the student directed One-Acts.
According to Samantha Pohl, the play is about aliens coming to earth to try to understand and observe human life, but on another level it is about humans searching for comfort, meaning, and connection.
“For this production we all had to really pull together,” said Pohl. “It’s is a challenging play and we all knew that going into it, but we conquered those challenges with dedication and focus.”
