WEB EXCLUSIVE! All College Sing delightful even with low participation
April 3, 2003
“We came in last but we had fun,” said sophomore Andrew English, a brother in Sigma Alpha Epsilon. “We also had the most crowd participation.”
SAE, Tri Delta and Lambda Chi Alpha were the participants in the annual All-College Sing on last Wednesday. Participation this year was uncommonly low, not only by performers but also in the crowd.
“Not very many people showed up,” said English.
SAE performed rock songs by the Nadas, Sister Hazel and Soul Asylum. Tri Delta placed second with its sixties theme including, “It’s my party,” “Chapel of Love,” Lollipop,” “These boots were made for walking,” and “Downtown.” Lambda Chi Alpha won the contest with “OB-LA-DI, OB-LA-DA,” “Not while I’m Around,” “Do you hear the people sing?” and “Goodnight.”
