Simpson students are seeing some new faces at the head of the classroom this year after the hiring of seven new faculty members.

Bruce Brown was hired as a music instructor. He received his masters in music from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1985.

Virginia Croskery was also hired as a music instructor. She received her masters in music from Northwestern University in 1987.

Carolyn Dallinger was hired as an assistant professor of social work and criminal justice. She is a Simpson alum, and has a J.D. from Southern University that she received in 1989.

Mark Gammon was hired as a religion instructor. He received his ABD from Boston College.

Susanne Gubanc was hired as an assistant professor of communications studies. She received her ABD from the University of Iowa.

Brian Peer was hired as an assistant professor of biology. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Manitoba in 1998.

Erin Reser was hired as an assistant professor of speech and rhetoric.

There will likely be even more new faces on campus in coming months. College officials plan to add more positions to the faculty for 2004-2005.
