Todd Little, assistant dean of student academic achievement and director of Hawley Academic Recourse Center, has dedicated his life’s work to helping students have a positive academic journey while they’re at Simpson.

“I enjoy meeting with individual students,” Little said. “To have those interactions with students each day and the problems that they bring, it’s always something different.”

6 a.m. – Wake up

7:00 – Walk to campus

7:15-7:45 – Check e-mails and voicemails in office

7:45 – Head to class

8:00-9:00 – Teach class (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

9:00 – Back in the office to work on projects and respond to e-mail

9:30-10:30 – In admissions building preparing for a committee meeting

10:30-11:30 – Correct quizzes and other various homework

11:30-12:30 p.m. – Walks home for lunch

12:30 – Returns to work

12:30-1:45 – Does office projects and prepares

1:45-4:30 – Most of the afternoon is freed for

student appointments

4:30 – Leaves work and heads home

5:00 – Dinner

5:30-7:00 – Time to relax

7:00-10:00 – Church activities

10:00-10:30 – Watches the news

10:30 – Bed time
