A forcible sex offense took place at ATO on Feb. 11 at 1:30 a.m., according to the Simpson College security log.

The Indianola Police Department notified Simpson Security about the incident and is currently looking into the claim.

“We’ve been informed of an incident by the IPD,” said Director of Security Chris Frerichs. “We’re working and cooperating with them.”

IPD declined to release information about the incident as the case is currently under investigation.

The Simpsonian will print more information as it becomes available.
