Senior Jessica Paulsen arranged a collective effort to raise awareness about sexual assault through a T-shirt campaign. Simpson students wore the shirts on Tuesday to “Make It Real.” In a campus-wide e-mail, Paulsen shared statistics about sexual assault, including that 1 in 6 women and 1 in 33 men will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime. Paulsen also noted that149 women and 22 men associated with Simpson will potentially be sexually assaulted in their lifetime.
