Zombie Burger livens palette

If you are looking for a delicious meal with a fun dining atmosphere Zombie Burger is the place to go.

I recently gave Zombie Burger a try for the first time and was nothing but impressed.

There has been a lot of talk about the new restaurant and it is well deserved. Everything they do is fun and creative.

With a party of four, our evening started off with an hour and 15 minute wait for a table. But get this, they text you when your table is ready. I think that is just about the best thing since sliced bread.

Who wants to sit around the restaurant for an hour or more waiting for a table? No one. With their new texting idea we were able to go walk around downtown as we waited.

Once we got the text that our table was ready we headed back for a one of a kind dining experience. The menu was set up as a newspaper with stories on the front and the actual menu on the inside.

The items on the menu were some of the most interesting I have ever seen. Their burgers had everything from a burger with peanut butter and bananas on it to a burger with grilled cheese as the bun.

They don’t just have burgers either. They serve hot dogs, soups, appetizers and other sandwiches as well. There is also quite the array of sides to choose from, meaning they have something to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.

Now, I am not very adventurous when it comes to food so I stuck to the staple, a bacon cheeseburger, but my friends got some of the more adventurous items. Needless to say, we were all extremely satisfied with our choices.

Sadly, sides are not included with the meal so I chose to order fries with my burger as well.

When our food arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size. The burger was big and the pile of fries I got was huge. As we all stuffed our faces with our burgers and fries there was not a single complaint about our meal.

Our burgers were cooked to perfection and the fries were delicious as well.

The 21-year-olds in our group ordered drinks to go along with dinner. The drinks seemed to be a bit pricey for the size but when they took the first sip the looks on their faces alluded to the fact that the drinks were quite strong.

The atmosphere and decorations in the restaurant were perfectly suited as well. It was a dark place with zombies around every corner. The restaurant itself is very small with few tables to go around. The décor adds a certain charm to the dining experience.

We finished our meal with everyone stuffed and extremely satisfied.

I would hands down give this restaurant five out of five stars, so wear your loosest pants and bring your appetite to experience the wonder that is Zombie Burger. I promise you will not be disappointed.
