The Women’s Basketball team looked to continue their torrid start Wednesday night while trying to stay undefeated as they faced Iowa Wesleyan.

The Storm beat the Tigers by a score of 72-54. The offense again was evenly spread with a lot of ball movement and accurate shooting behind the arc.

Simpson went into the contest undefeated at 5-0 were taking on the Tigers with an overall record of 1-6.

Both teams came out of the locker room with an up-tempo game plan trying to take it right at one another. Due to the Storm continuous scoring along with a stellar zone defense, Simpson slowly started to pull away from the Tigers towards the end of the half. However, a sudden spurt from the Tigers kept them in striking distance to end the half. The Storm were up 40-30 on the Tigers with a lot of game left to play.

Simpson came out in the second half picking up right where they left off. They continued to take it to the Tigers until the end of the game and slowly kept pulling away.

The Storm will be in action again Saturday night, December 1, where they will be taking on Wheaton. Tip off will be at 7 p.m.
