The Simpson College Campus Activities Board announced this week the theme for Homecoming 2016 is Bright Lights Storm City.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:

Sunday, Oct. 2:

– Street painting starts at 3 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 3:

– Homecoming kickoff at 5-8:30 p.m.
– Fireworks at dusk
– Medallion hunt starts
– Faculty/staff office and student door decorations begin
– Rolled Out of Bed Monday

Tuesday, Oct. 4:

– Student Government Association-sponsored flag football game at 7 p.m.
– Twin Tuesday

Wednesday, Oct. 5:

– Staff office and student door decorations end at 12 p.m.; judging starts at 1 p.m.
– Wacky Wednesday

Thursday, Oct. 6:

– Storm Relay at 5 p.m.
– Street painting ends at 3 p.m.; judging starts at 4 p.m.
– Character Thursday

Friday, Oct. 7:

– Yell Like Hell at 8:30 p.m.
– Dance Like Hell, iExperia at approximately 10 p.m.
– Storm Friday

Saturday, Oct. 8:

– Homecoming tailgate
– Homecoming game vs. Luther at 1 p.m.

SIGNUPS AND NOMINATIONS:

Online signups for clubs and organizations participating in homecoming week events, including street painting, Storm Relay and Yell Like Hell started Monday and will close Friday this week.
