I’ve been hooking up with one of my guy friends for awhile now. I’ve come to the realization that I’m in love with him. I don’t know how to tell him about my feelings. We’ve never really talked about our relationship status or what we think about each other. 

I worry that if I tell him how I really feel he will get scared and run off. I don’t want our thing to stop. But if I do tell him our relationship could finally go somewhere. I’m not sure what I should do Millie. I need advice!

Dear Desperate Danielle,

I would take a look at your friend and decide if he actually cares about you or is only interested in hooking up. If you’ve been friends with him for awhile you should be able to figure out how he feels.

If he’s just using you, I would get out of that relationship fast. The only thing that is going to result from this is heartbreak.

If you think he cares about you, I would tell him about your feelings and need for an official  relationship. Brace yourself for whatever reaction he may give you. He may end up ending your friendship. Best of luck.
