Simpson football head coach announces resignation
March 3, 2016
Simpson football head coach Jim Glogowski announced his resignation Thursday, according to Brian Niemuth, director of athletics.
Glogowski went 37-43 in eight seasons at the helm for the Storm.
He will move on to be the interim defensive coordinator at Division II Minnesota State Mankato, where he will coach alongside Joe Beschorner, who served as the offensive coordinator at Simpson during part of Glogowski’s time at Simpson.
MSUM made the first round of the NCAA Division II Tournament before being eliminated by Emporia State University this past November.
Simpson’s best finish under Glogowski was a 7-3, 5-2 finish in 2013 in which Simpson finished second place in the Iowa Conference.
A search for a new head coach will ensue immediately.
