Volleyball falls on the road to Graceland

The Simpson volleyball team dropped a road contest at Graceland 3-0 (25-15, 25-22, 25-17) Tuesday night.

Graceland led the Storm most of the game, ending the match with more kills (40-21), attacks (95-83) and a higher hitting percentage (24 percent to 6 percent).

Madison Endsley led the Storm with seven kills, followed by Niki Dean with five and Ty Duve with four.

With the loss, the Storm fall to 3-2 on the year.

They will be back in action this weekend when they travel to Bloomington, Illinois, to participate in the Illinois Wesleyan Barker Classic. Their first match will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday against MacMurray.
