If you haven’t noticed, some of Simpson’s sidewalks are getting a bit of tender, loving care. But as one freshman saw, the moment was nothing less than opportune.

Of course, Harambe was the 17-year-old Western lowland gorilla gunned down in May after a 3-year-old boy fell into the enclosure at the Cincinnati zoo, sparking national coverage and, as expected, widespread outrage.
In response to the vandalism, Simpson College officials had the perfect response:
