The Office of College Advancement has recently hired AshleyRullestad as the new director of annual giving for SimpsonCollege.

“This position builds relationships with [the] Simpsoncommunity, focusing on securing annual support of the college,”Rullestad said.

After the resignation of Pam Pepper, Rullestad was one ofseveral applicants for the position.

Rullestad had previously worked in the office as the AssistantDirector of Annual Giving and Alumni Programs, as well as helpingwith the phon-a-thon.

So far, Rullestad’s main goal is to raise money for thecollege.

“Some goals this year are to build the annual fund,” Rullestadsaid. “The annual funds support scholarships and financial aid forstudents.”
