Feb. 1: Ron Warnet, professor of chemistry, will be in Dirlam Lounge at 12:30 p.m. to share his story regarding vocation, continuing the sessions of Tuesdays with a Professor.

Expanded Computer Lab hours in McNeill

An e-mail from Vice President of Information Services and Chief Information Officer Kelley Bradder informed students last week that there are new computer lab hours in McNeill Hall.

The new hours mean that Monday through Thursday the lab will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. instead of closing at 10 p.m. as it did last semester.

Information Services also unveiled a new color printer in Dunn Library that is available to students for all uses. The latest upgrades were just two of the many updates this year from Information Services.

Study Abroad Fair to be held next week

The Study Abroad Fair will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 1 in McNeill Hall. The event will be from 1-2 p.m. in the Pioneer Conference Room. Students are encouraged to come and inquire about summer and semester-long abroad programs. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Crime Log

Sometime between Jan. 11 and Jan. 14 and the hours of 9 p.m.-7:30 a.m., there was a report of theft from a motor vehicle on 515 N. E Street. Items missing are a radio and an iPod. The front driver’s side door was unlocked. There was a report filed with Indianola Police Department (IPD) and it is under investigation.

On Jan. 24, between 6:00 p.m.-7:15 p.m. there was a report of a possible break-in attempt at Clinton # 104. The door of the apartment had been locked or pushed in and the lock was damaged. IPD was notified.
