Indianola police are warning pedestrians and drivers of an apparent hazmat spill near the intersection of Highway 92 and South Buxton Street.

Crews were sent to the scene around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the Indianola Police Department’s Facebook page, the spill is approximately one-half block long and appeared to be hydraulic fluid.

Officers said pedestrians and drivers should use caution as the dry spill remains on the pavement surface.
