U.S. Attorney Ben Wizner to Give Constitution Day Lecture

Ben Wizner, the U.S. attorney for Edward Snowden, is scheduled to present the Constitution Day Lecture on campus this year. 

The Harvard College graduate will deliver his lecture on Sept. 17 in Hubbell Hall in Kent Campus Center. His lecture is titled “Collect it All: Mass Surveillance and the Future of Democracy.”
 
Snowden, a former agent with the National Security Agency, leaked classified information. Wizner directs the Speech, Privacy and Technology Project of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and represents Snowden.
 
He’ll focus on the Fourth Amendment and tie it into the case against Snowden. Wizner will also touch upon the technological changes in this generation.
 
The lecture will start at 7 p.m.
