We did it. We’ve elected the first woman to Congress from Iowa leaving Mississippi the last state to have not done so. For me, I couldn’t be more proud. When I first met Joni, I knew she was the real deal. I was never more excited for a candidate than I was for Joni Ernst. And it wasn’t just me. People turned out all over the state to successfully elect the mother, soldier and independent leader we fell in love with. I know that Joni will make us proud in the United States Senate and I can’t wait to help send her back in 2020.
