The Iowa caucuses are one week away, and presidential candidates on both sides are making a last-ditch effort to boost their campaigns and woo potential caucus-goers.
Democratic presidential candidate and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, who has consistently struggled at the bottom of the polls, will speak at Great Hall at 2 p.m. Monday.
He will talk about new leadership and rebuilding the American Dream.
Republican presidential candidate and former neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson will speak at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Black Box Theater.
Carson, one-time Republican front-runner, who is popular among Iowa evangelicals, has fallen to fourth place in the most recent Fox News Poll in Iowa with 8 percent.
He trails business mogul Donald Trump, who has 35 percent, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who has 20 percent and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who has 13 percent.
