Q: Where are you from?
A: Creston, Iowa.

Q: What are you studying?
A: I’m majoring in neuroscience and minoring in psychology.

Q: What are your plans for post-graduation?
A: I’m hoping to attend PA (Physician Assistant) school after Simpson.

Q: Why did you choose Simpson College?
A: On my first visit it felt very comfortable and like home. I was also recruited to play soccer. I talked to a lot of professors and found there to be lots of opportunities. It just felt right.

Q: Are you involved in any extracurriculars, organizations, or clubs on campus? If so, which ones?
A: I’m the Co-Director of Dance Marathon, involved in the Pre-Health Society, and have previously been involved in soccer.

Q: What is your favorite food/drink on campus?
A: The strawberry pineapple smoothie from Red Mango.

Q: Where is your favorite place on campus?
A: Carver.

Q: What is one fun fact that not many people know about you?
A: I grew up on a farm.

Q: What is your all-time favorite memory at Simpson College?
A: It’s hard to choose. There are so many. One would have to be meeting my best friend who lived across the hall my freshman year. We are also studying the same thing (her best friend), and always spending time together. I feel like I’ve found my people. Joining Dance Marathon is also one of my favorite memories.
