Q: What is your major?

A: Sports administration with a minor in coaching.

Q: Where are you from and what high school did you go to?

A: I’m from Des Moines, IA and I went to Saydel High School.

Q: What made you choose Simpson?

A: I loved the size of the school and the diverse selection of majors and minors. I also loved the location and the success that the Simpson women’s basketball has had.

Q: Why do you like playing basketball?

A: I’ve played since I was young and I enjoy being active along with being on a team. I like being a part of something that’s bigger than myself.

Q: What’s go your go-to pregame snack?

A: Oatmeal squares because Coach Lonning provides them.

Q: What’s your go-to ABP sandwich?

A: Egg, bacon and cheese on a croissant.

Q: If you were a Disney character who would you be and why?

A: Olaf because I love his sense of humor and outlook on life.

Q: What has been your favorite memory in your 4 years at Simpson?

A: All the basketball trips we’ve gone on, and beating Wartburg.

Q: How do you feel the women’s basketball team’s season has been so far?

A: This season has been going well. Our team is very hardworking and unselfish. I love playing with my best friends and I can’t wait to see what happens here in the next month.

Q: If you had to give an incoming freshman one piece of advice what would it be?

A: Believe in the process. You have the best coaches and teammates and they will lead you in the right direction. Get in the gym when you can and work hard every second, in the classroom and on the court.

Q: When you graduate, what do you hope the people at Simpson will remember you by? 

A: I hope they see a girl accomplishing her dreams and living life to the fullest. 

Q: What are your plans after college?

A: I plan to find a job working with college or professional sports.
