Q: What activities you are involved in?

“I’m president of Alpha Tau Omega (ATO), I’m a senator in Student Government, I’m the secretary of our intramural program here at Simpson, I’m a member of the exercise science club and the founder to the Walking Club.”

Q: What has your Simpson experience been like?

“It’s been incredible. The size that Simpson is allows me to just be involved. It allows someone to try something to see if it’s for them. The small atmosphere makes it to where we get to build great relationships with our professors and other students. At a big school, I would have never been able to experience and meet all of these people and have a connection like I do here at Simpson.”

Q: What’s your favorite Simpson memory?

“My favorite memory was being elected as president of ATO. It’s a great feeling to have a whole house say that they want you to essentially be their leader and make the house better while under my presidency.”

Q: What is your plan post-graduation?

“For post-graduation, I would like to get into a gym to be a nutritional coach. I’m interning as a trainer now, and I realized this is what I would like to do. I would be helping a client one-on-one and focus on their dietary needs that go hand-in-hand with their exercises.”

Q: If you had any advice to give to underclassmen what would it be?

“You have to get involved with as much as you can. You may like video games and watching TV, but I see it as a waste of time, personally. These are four years where you get to see what you want to do with your life with relatively zero consequences. If you don’t like it, that’s OK, you can quit and find something else you are passionate about.”

Q: What are you going to miss most about going to Simpson?

“I’m going to miss being so involved with everyone and everything. I like bouncing around campus getting to know everybody. It’s really just the atmosphere that I love so much about being a student here at Simpson.”
