Chocolate-covered strawberries

Are you in the mood for something sweet, but trying to stay awayfrom those starchy brownies? Here’s the perfect dessert for you!It’s fast, simple and easy. This delectable dessert is perfect fordate night with that someone special or just as a party favor withfriends!

What you need:

6 ounces semisweet chocolate pieces

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 pint strawberries, with hulls (stems) intact, washed anddried

Start by lining a cookie sheet with wax paper.

In a 1-quart microwave proof bowl, place the chocolate pieces ina circle. Add the butter to the center; the butter will make thechocolate shiny. Cook on medium (50%) for 2 minutes; stir. Cook onmedium another 30 seconds to 1 minute, stirring occasionally untilmelted and smooth.

Using the hull as a handle, partially dip and twirl thestrawberries in the chocolate. Place the hull side down, as much aspossible, on the cookie sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to hardenor eat them while the chocolate is still warm. .

However you choose to eat them doesn’t matter, as long as youenjoy them.
