After the Storm
Football
The Simpson football team fell for the second straight week at home falling to Luther, 38-24. Leading the way for the Storm offensively was junior Scott McCarty, who threw for 297 yards, but had four interceptions. Junior Dusty Kain caught nine passes for 155 yards. The Storm end the season at 5-5 overall and 4-4 in the conference.
Men’s cross country
The Simpson men’s cross country team ended the season with a 20th place finish at the Division III Central Region cross country meet. Leading the way for the Storm was senior Nick Bowerman with a time of 26:27.
Women’s cross country
The Storm women’s cross country team wrapped up the 2004 season this past weekend with a 21st place finish at the Division III Central Region cross country meet. Leading the way for Simpson was freshman Mary Rouleau with a time of 24:45 in the 6K race.
Storm Damage
