The men’s and women’s cross country team traveled to Northfield, Minn. to compete in the Regional Cross Country Meet hosted by St. Olaf College. Start times for both the men’s and women’s races were postponed one hour due to the snow. Regardless of the cold weather, the Storm still competed very well.

The men’s team finished 17th out of 23 teams and was led once again by sophomore Eric Osterhaus. He placed 42nd amongst a group of elite athletes in a time of 26:55.10.

The women also placed 17th out of 23 teams. Freshmen Jess Christensen set the pace for the Storm in a time of 23:44.92. This time was enough for 34th place and earned her All-Region honors. This meet concludes the 2006 cross country season.
