Food Production Manager Mike Hull has been working at Simpson for six years purchasing, preparing and doing weekly inventory of food.

He also has the responsibility of maintaining food quality and sanitation. Working at Pfeiffer, he has done everything from working at the front door to baking and washing dishes. Anytime someone is sick, Hull is able to fill in.

“I enjoy serving the kids and helping out,” Hull said. “The student workers are also fun to work with.”

Hull came here primarily because his wife wanted to be closer to their kids. Being in the contract food business, Hull was required to move around a lot. Hull also recently retired in January but will continue to work at Simpson.

“This is perfect for us,” Hull said. “I get to work as much as I want and still collect social security. I’m not going anywhere.”

In his free time, Hull enjoys fishing and going antique mall shopping.
