INDIANOLA, Iowa — First-year elections have been delayed due to “unforeseen technical difficulties,” the Student Government Association posted on its Facebook page Monday.

Voting had been scheduled to start Monday but will instead begin Tuesday after experiencing problems with Survey Monkey, an online survey service.

Freshmen should receive a link to the right voting page to select class senators and the class president.

Because of the mishap, elections will remain open until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday to compensate for lost time. Candidates will be notified shortly thereafter.

To view the candidates’ profiles and statements, visit the SGA Facebook page.

Anyone with questions is asked to contact Student Body President Robert Lyons at [email protected].
